Are you a flirt?

October 19th 2006 06:06
Flirting’s fun. And you must never try to hard. The best flirts - Renee Zelweger’s Bridget Jones - know how to be adorable instinctively. And it’s not just about sparkling looks. Confidence is sex appeal, a knowing smile, a cheeky wink and a perfectly timed brush of the hand.
Wanna be a flirting pro? Here’s how…

1. Focus. Focus. Focus. Zoom in on your all-sexual physical qualities and quit the mental-sabotage about the less perfect ones. Everyone has their own unique individual look - work out your favorite asset and work it!
2. LIVE your body. Move your body. Exercise will make you feel vital, strong, and SEXY. Shake that patooty, now!

3. Watch the experts. Who's your fave actor or rock star? Learn how to emulate the moves. Julia Roberts for her miles of smiles, Cameron Diaz for her long leggy stride.
4. Perfect the art of being tactile: nuzzle, touch, stroke to make a salient point.
5. Use your body language to really liven a conversation up. Sit up, shoulders back, stretch your arms above your head, pile your hair atop your head and let it fall back down gently around your face.
6. Smile, laugh, be animated and mischievous; live with a sense of fun and excitement. Be playful. Break the rules. Improvise. Experiment!
7. Don’t slump! Sashay, bounce or saunter across the crowded room.
6. Don't be afraid to breathe - you're here to entertain. Don't hold back.
8 Be aware of your voice - tape it and practice your breathing. Speak in low soothing tones.
9. Let your hair down and shake it around your face. Pull it up to expose the nape of your neck.
10. Ensure your lips are kissable - preferably moist, plump and red. Flick that hair, toss that head and lick those lips.

Hi Sue,

I'm taking it that you are referring to a female here ?

Gee, I think it takes two to flirt properly - a dying art indeed, but you've got the essence here. I think you have to do what comes naturally too, so you can repulse some of the 'wrong' ones. I've witnessed some of the strangest flirting in bars that sometimes had me in stitiches.... very unique, not that I hang out in bars a lot, but I have studied flirting for years in malls, movie and hotel lobby's from all over the world... different races have different rules which are really interesting to observe... little rituals that make a dutchman so different to a French man... I think Australians are the weirdest of them all...*lol*

I Look forward to more ....

L.
